8. Minnesota Vikings

Yes, the Vikings have a brand new head coach in Kevin O’Connell that should be able to help the team’s offense progress in the right direction next season. But there are still plenty of question marks surrounding Minnesota heading into the 2022 campaign, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

O’Connell is going to have to figure out how to turn the Vikings’ offense into an explosive unit because scoring around 30 points per game might be the only way the team adds wins to their record next season.

7. Philadelphia Eagles

For a team that wasn’t even trying to make the playoffs in 2021, the Eagles will be looking to make some actual noise in the postseason in 2022.

Philadelphia made a blockbuster trade with the Tennessee Titans during this year’s NFL Draft to acquire wide receiver A.J. Brown, someone who should help make life easier for Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Then on the defensive side of the ball, Philadelphia used two of their first three 2022 draft selections to add a pair of players from Georgia’s National Championship roster in defensive tackle Jordan Davis and linebacker Nakobe Dean.

Combine these additions from the draft with some of the guys the Eagles added in free agency earlier this year in linebackers Hasson Reddick and Kyzir White and this could be a team that surprises a few people next season.
