2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

When the greatest quarterback in NFL history decides to return to the Bucs after retiring earlier this year, it doesn’t really matter what the team did in the draft.

Tampa will likely be the favorite in the NFC for a lot of people next season with Tom Brady back under center. But after losing to the Rams in the Divisional Round of the 2021 playoffs, the Bucs still have to prove that they are better than Los Angeles.

Tampa will get an opportunity for revenge when they host the Rams for a matchup during the upcoming 2022 season.

1. Los Angeles Rams

There isn’t really any other spot to put the reigning Super Bowl champions that will have Matthew Stafford, Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp, and Jalen Ramsey back on the field next season.

Los Angeles didn’t have a pick in the 2022 draft until the third round, but they still ended the final day with eight new players. Of these eight rookies, four of them are defensive backs, so the Rams were clearly placing an emphasis on improving their secondary during this year’s draft.

Will the players Los Angeles drafted and the free-agent additions like wide receiver Allen Robinson and linebacker Bobby Wagner be enough to help the team defend the top of the NFL mountain during the 2022 season?
