No. 5: Week 11 vs. Cowboys

The Minnesota Vikings have lost their last two contests against the Dallas Cowboys and will need to prove there isn’t something about taking on America’s Team that sets the purple and gold up for disappointment.

Dallas boasts a dynamic passing attack led by Dak Prescott. Sadly, the Cowboys didn’t need Prescott to beat the Vikings in their last meeting since Cooper Rush decided to drop 325 yards and two touchdowns on the struggling defense.

Although he may not be the player he used to be, Ezekiel Elliot, along with Tony Pollard, can still run the ball well when given the opportunity. The run game can thrive even more if Dallas can find success in their passing game.

The Cowboys’ defense looks good as well with Micah Parsons holding down the middle and Trevon Diggs looking to get turnovers in the secondary. This could be a pivotal road game for the Minnesota Vikings as they attempt to make the playoffs.

Major Challenges:

  • Winning the turnover battle
  • Limiting yards after contact
  • Disrupting Prescott
