No. 3: Week 1 vs. Packers
What a way to start the season! Having the Green Bay Packers come to U.S. Bank Stadium is quite the way for Kevin O’Connell to start his coaching career in Minnesota. If he didn’t know about games between Green Bay and the Vikings, he will learn pretty quickly.
There is no way to fully prepare for Aaron Rodgers. Even without Davante Adams since he was traded to the Raiders, Rodgers can spread the ball around and make even the most average receivers look amazing.
Many eyes will be on Christian Watson, the player the Packers drafted in the second round after trading up with Minnesota. If the young receiver comes out and dominates in his first game against the team that passed on him, it would be a tough look.
Green Bay’s offense gets a lot of love, but their defense is quite strong as well. A young secondary coupled with a big defensive line has given many teams problems in the past and it shouldn’t be much different in 2022.
