No. 1: Week 17 at Packers

Everything could be on the line in this border battle between Minnesota and Wisconsin. 16 weeks will have passed since their first matchup of the year and hopefully, the Vikings can learn from that first game and adjust for the second meeting.

All of the stuff mentioned in the previous game still holds heading into this contest but there is the added pressure of playoff implications as well as hitting the road to Lambeau Field to play in possibly horrible weather will be interesting.

Green Bay is most people’s favorite to win the NFC North with Minnesota not too far behind. If the Vikings can win their division games and be on the winning side of close contests, they have a chance at being in the playoffs.

Two big circles should go around this game on the schedule because this is the most important game of the year. Even though it’s set for a 3:25 pm kickoff, don’t be surprised if this game gets flexed to primetime if both the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers are fighting for the postseason.

Major Challenges:

  • Big playoff implications
  • Slowing Packers offense
  • More bad weather
