The Minnesota Vikings know who they will be facing during their three preseason games and when those contests will take place.

Normally, the preseason isn’t a very thrilling time for NFL fans. Most casual fans don’t start paying attention until the regular season rolls around, yet there is a lot that can be learned about the Minnesota Vikings that makes the preseason must-see for many fans.

What will the new defense look like? What changes will be made to the offense? And how much will having a new head coach change the feel of the game for the purple and going into the season?

Don’t expect the Vikings to give too much away about what their team is looking to do this season during exhibition play, but it will still be great to see a glimpse of what this team can accomplish after all their changes.

Minnesota Vikings 2022 Preseason Schedule

Week 1 at Las Vegas Raiders

  • Sunday, Aug. 14 at 3:25 PM CT

Week 2 vs. San Francisco 49ers

  • Saturday, Aug. 20 at (time TBD)

Week 3 at Denver Broncos

  • Saturday, Aug. 27 at 8 PM CT

Each of these games will offer a nice challenge to the Vikings. Although two of the three games are on the road and both of those are a healthy trip to the west, getting a feel for some of the new additions to the roster as well as some of the tendencies of the new staff in each of the three games will offer some insight as to how the regular season could go.

Best of luck to the Minnesota Vikings in their three preseason games. If the team can emerge from these games healthy and prepared for the season, they have a good chance to make some noise during the regular season.
