4. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals (Week 8)

Earlier in this article, the dual-threat ability that Jalen Hurts possesses was discussed. However, he won’t be the only extremely mobile passer the Minnesota Vikings will face during the 2022 NFL season.

Kyler Murray doesn’t like to run as much as Hurts does, but the situations where he does take off running are much more calculated. Murray is a bit more accurate with his arm, completing a career-high 69.2 percent of his passes last year compared to 61.3 percent for Hurts.

270.5 passing yards per game combined with 30.2 rushing yards per game show he would prefer to distribute the ball to his playmakers rather than use his legs to make plays, but he has the option to do so thanks to his athleticism.

There may be some drama surrounding his place in Arizona, but the Cardinals still boast some excellent weapons and a quarterback that can deliver the ball where it needs to go, However, if plays break down, Murray can shine in his improvisation.

Biggest challenges:

  • Athleticism
  • Situational decision making
  • Surrounding talent
