3. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys (Week 11)

Whether people want to admit it or not, Dak Prescott and Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins are similar in many ways. Both are pocket passers with big arms who like to give their receivers a chance to make big plays while chipping away at the field with short to mid-range passes.

Prescott doesn’t have the supporting cast he used to have offensively. Amari Cooper is now a member of the Cleveland Browns and Ezekiel Elliott isn’t the same running back who stormed the league upon his arrival.

Despite those setbacks, the two-time Pro Bowl quarterback is a smart player who had a quarterback rating of 104.2 last season when he threw for 4,449 yards and 37 touchdowns compared to only ten interceptions in 16 games.

Biggest challenges:

  • Decision making
  • Big play ability
  • poise
