Seventh-Round Pick (227th overall)

Original Selection: Nick Muse – TE (South Carolina)

Redraft Selection: Dohnovan West – C (Arizona State)

For some reason, the Vikings believe that they can fix center Garrett Bradbury, or they can at least lessen the impact of his weaknesses out on the field.

Bradbury doesn’t have any competition for his starting job this year, and that seems odd for a former first-round pick that has been one of the worst centers in the league since he was drafted in 2019.

At least if Minnesota took a flyer on someone like former Arizona State center Dohnovan West, they would have some insurance if Bradbury shocked the world and continued to play poorly in 2022.

In 12 games at Arizona State last season, West only allowed one sack. He still has plenty to work on, but taking a chance on him in the seventh round should have been an easy decision for the Vikings to make.
