Mackensie Alexander – Second round in 2016

Flashing in nickel situations can make any defensive back seem like a great value to have on a roster, but sadly Mackensie Alexander struggled after reuniting with the Minnesota Vikings for the 2021 season.

Alexander couldn’t seem to make the most of his opportunity last season and the 28-year-old defender finds himself as a free agent in a talent pool that has quite a bit of experience and depth to choose from.

Six seasons in the league has been enough to get a good feel for what Alexander has to offer. He has been one season and out with his last two teams, putting him in an awkward situation where he will need to find a coaching staff that believes in him.

If someone doesn’t decide to kick the tires on Mackensie Alexander again, he may have to look at one of the other football leagues in hopes of impressing an NFL team enough to earn another opportunity.
