Jerick McKinnon – RB (Chiefs)

Chiefs 2022 Super Bowl Odds: +1000

It was starting to seem like Jerick McKinnon might not play during the 2022 season, as he remained unemployed until the Chiefs recently decided to re-sign him.

So McKinnon is sticking with a Kansas City team that is still trying to recapture the magic that resulted in them winning the Super Bowl back in 2019.

The Chiefs will be attempting to make it to the AFC Championship for the fifth-straight season in 2022 and they’ll have to do it without wide receiver Tyreek Hill. With Hill no longer a part of the offense, could McKinnon have a bigger role with Kansas City this year?

The former Vikings running back appeared in 13 games with the Chiefs last season, but he only produced 169 yards and one touchdown. So McKinnon is a bit of a roster-bubble player right now, but if he makes it past final cuts, he could potentially be a part of a Kansas City team that wins their second Super Bowl under head coach Andy Reid.
