With former Timberwolves player Andrew Wiggins winning a championship with another team, he shares a trait with some former Minnesota Vikings.

The Minnesota Vikings history with the Super Bowl isn’t one to be hidden, as their 0-4 record in the big game is tied for the worst in NFL history with the Buffalo Bills.

Commitment to a team and an organization is always important in one’s athletic career, but seeking new opportunities and/or benefiting from fresh starts can result in greater experiences.

The latter could be said about NBA player Andrew Wiggins, who was traded by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2020 to the Golden State Warriors, and he recently won his first championship with the Warriors. But the Wiggins, Garnetts, and Loves of the NBA world are not a basketball exclusive story.

With an 0-4 record in the Super Bowl, it’s not a surprise when a player leaves the Vikings and finds themselves in greener pastures. Some are even being able to add a championship to their resume after leaving Minnesota.
