5 Vikings players who could become stars in 2022

If anyone is close to making the jump to being a star for the Minnesota Vikings, it is right tackle Brian O’Neill. Even though linemen don’t get a lot of love for their play very often, the big blocker has already been getting rumbles about how good he really is.
O’Neill has a great chance to improve his play if the can get some stable play next to him at right guard, but even with a revolving door of blockers next to him the last few seasons, he has proven to be a powerhouse of a blocker.
With a Pro Football Focus grade of 73.4 where he only allowed one sack, it’s scary that he should be even better in 2022 as he continues to grow and develop in the new offensive scheme under Kevin O’Connell.
He will likely never be a household name, but Brian O’Neill will keep getting praise for his excellent play. As long as he keeps impressing everyone, his reputation will continue to grow until the league is forced to give him respect.
