It may sound like another cheap copout for this list, but the first two picks the Minnesota Vikings made in the 2022 NFL Draft are both individuals with an extremely high ceiling. Sadly, Booth’s path to a starting job isn’t as open as Cine’s.

Booth should enter the preseason battling former third-round pick Cameron Dantzler. Injury held him back from working out and contributing at rookie minicamp and OTAs, but once he is ready to good, this should be an interesting fight.

Booth showed amazing potential at Clemson, showcasing an amazing passion for the game to go with good size and coverage radius. He’s especially smooth and quick in coverage and shouldn’t struggle too much against the league’s top receivers.

Adjusting to the NFL is extremely tough for a cornerback. Rules change wildly from college to the pros but once he gets his footing, Andrew Booth has the potential to be one of the league’s next shutdown corners.
