Rumors are swirling that former Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is in talks to face Le’Veon Bell in a boxing match at Crypto.Com Arena.

Adrian Peterson is a Minnesota Vikings legend. The star running back is the leading rusher in franchise history and won an NFL MVP award by absolutely destroying defenses with his combination of speed and power.

Today, Peterson is 37 years old and still a free agent. He has played for seven teams since entering the league and is still hoping to play in the NFL. Sadly, that doesn’t seem to be in the cards, leaving AP open to other opportunities.

Recently, TMZ reported Adrian Peterson is in talks to have a boxing match against another big-name running back by the name of Le’Veon Bell.

In the TMZ Sports Exclusive, they explained that the match would be part of the Social Gloves event hosted by YouTube superstar Austin McBroom since Bell has already signed on but has yet to have his opponent named.

Bell and Peterson would stack up well against each other. Both are 6’1 and weigh between 217 and 225 pounds. Peterson is seven years older than Bell, but both are still in playing shape and could put on one heck of a show.

There are already a couple of other big fights on the card, including rapper Blueface taking on former professional basketball player Nick Young and YouTubers Austin McBroom and AnEsonGib fighting each other.

Slated to take place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. That venue is the home to the Kings (NHL), Lakers (NBA), Clippers (NBA), and Sparks (WNBA)  The venue is capable of hosting what should be a massive draw to see these big names put on boxing matches under the bright lights while music acts typically perform between fights.

At this time, former Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson hasn’t officially signed on for the fight, but TMZ Sports says their sources say “it’s just a matter of time” before it’s a done deal.

UPDATE: ESPN Ringside reports that the contracts are signed for this fight.
