Who are some of the most underappreciated Minnesota Vikings in franchise history?

The Minnesota Vikings have had some stellar players come through the organization over the course of the franchise’s existence. They have even been lucky enough to have a handful of the greatest players to ever play in the NFL with Randy Moss, Carl Eller, and Adrian Peterson.

In order for teams to be successful, they have to get contributions from guys that sit outside of the superstar threshold. We watched the years of Adrian Peterson and Randy Moss pass without much more than a couple of Conference Championship defeats thanks to mishaps from the rest of the roster.

If we want to truly appreciate the history of the Vikings and even just the recent history of Minnesota’s football franchise, we have to start by giving more credit to some of the guys that deserve more love.

Some players did enough to help the team win but never got their flowers during their time with the Vikings. There are so many players through the years that deserve a shoutout or at least an apology for the way they were perceived by Vikings fans and national media.
