4 surprising firecrackers on the 2022 Minnesota Vikings

In the spirit of the 4th of July, it’s time to acknowledge some surprising Minnesota Vikings players who could provide some explosive plays in 2022.

It’s that time of year again for Minnesota Vikings fans and everyone else around the country. The radio waves are filled with Billy Ray Cyrus singing about how some gave all and all gave some, and the delicious odor of hot dogs and burgers sizzling over steaming hot charcoal fills the air. Soon the sound of booming fireworks will be heard as our nation celebrates the 4th of July.

Independence Day will always be associated with fireworks and one common firework is the explosive firecracker. These minute sticks of dynamite don’t do much more than let out a deafening bang. But in that instance, it is an explosive and intense moment of impact and sound.

In years past, we’ve done lists of the biggest firecrackers on the Vikings roster, but this year a different approach will be taken. We will look at some more surprising players who could provide some explosive plays for Minnesota next season.

Here is a list of four current members of the Vikings who aren’t the most obvious choices to be firecrackers, making plays that send energy and excitement not just through the team, but to the entire fan base as well.
