Another player that is under more pressure than most will need to impose himself right from the outset in training camp. Garrett Bradbury might not have lived up to his first-round billing just yet, but the Vikings are looking to provide the center with one more opportunity to prove his worth in 2022.

There are a few notable options remaining on the free-agent market at the center spot. If those in power within the Vikings don’t like what they see from Bradbury in camp, then one suspects they might delve into this scenario a little deeper.

Bradbury can take some comfort in the fact he controls his own destiny right now. Minnesota didn’t bring in any immediate competition for the role, but not picking up the North Carolina State product’s fifth-year option is a telling indication of how much is at stake for the player next season.

The former No. 18 overall selection gave up two sacks and conceded a whopping eight penalties from 882 snaps on offense last season. This has to get better and it all starts by setting the right foundations in training camp.

If Bradbury can do this and refine certain areas of his technique, then all hope might not be lost. But any leeway the lineman had during the Mike Zimmer era has completely disintegrated.
