5 reasons to be excited about the Vikings in 2022

Reason 4. Talented players everwhere
Looking at the projected depth chart for the Minnesota Vikings, there aren’t a lot of holes. While it would be great to know who will be playing at right guard or who will win some of the other camp battles, it’s hard not to be impressed with the depth and talent on this roster.
Offensively, the combination of Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen, Kirk Cousins, and Dalvin Cook should all bring eyes to the Vikings this season, but it’s going to be great to see a healthy Irv Smith Jr. work the field as well. Add in talent on the offensive line like Brian O’Neill and Christian Darrisaw and you have a squad that should be in the top ten of the league easily.
Defensively, Minnesota loaded up on talent all over the field. Bringing back Patrick Peterson to add to a defense that already includes studs like Eric Kendricks, Danielle Hunter, Za’Darius Smith, Harrison Smith, and more was a smart move. New faces Jordan Hicks, Harrison Phillips, and Lewis Cine should all make big impacts as well.
The Vikings also boast one of the most talented kick returners in the league. Kene Nwangwu is going to open some eyes this year while the offense and defense find a way to use their talented players to get wins against even the toughest teams in the league.
