No. 8: Kyler Murray (Arizona Cardinals)

There’s a reason why Cardinals general manager Steve Keim quickly shot down any notion that the team would be interested in trading Kyler Murray this year. Keim knows that Murray is a special quarterback and Arizona would be foolish to push him out the door.

With Murray under center for the last three seasons, the Cardinals were able to improve their win total every year. Last season, the young quarterback helped Arizona get off to an impressive 7-0 start and earn a spot in the playoffs for the first time since 2015.

Keeping Murray healthy needs to be a bigger priority for the Cardinals in 2022, and if they can do that, then they could be one of the top contenders in the NFC.

No. 7: Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals)

If you help your team reach the Super Bowl in just your second season in the NFL, you’re going to end up pretty high on this list. This is what Joe Burrow did with the Bengals in 2021, and it’s why he deserves to be ranked among the 10 best quarterbacks in the league.

There’s no real way to quantify it, but Burrow just has that “it factor” that makes you believe he is going to be a top signal-caller in the NFL for a long time. He’s also extremely talented, so let’s not just brush that aside.

The scary thing about Burrow is that he likely hasn’t even scratched the surface of his potential as a quarterback in this league.
