No. 30: Zach Wilson (New York Jets)

After completing over 73 percent of his passes in the final season of his college career at BYU, Zach Wilson struggled mightily with his accuracy as a rookie with the Jets in 2021.

If Wilson is going to live up to the massive expectations he was given last year as the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft, then he’s definitely going to have to improve his completion percentage in 2022.

He’ll have some new targets to help that accuracy next season as New York added wide receiver Garrett Wilson and running back Breece Hall in this year’s draft, and they signed a pair of talented free-agent tight ends in C.J. Uzomah and old friend Tyler Conklin.

No. 29: Mitchell Trubisky (Pittsburgh Steelers)

Mitchell Trubisky, who is 5-1 against the Vikings since 2018, is expected to be back on the field as a starter next season as a member of the Steelers.

Trubisky spent the 2021 campaign as the backup behind Josh Allen for the Buffalo Bills after beginning his NFL career with four unsuccessful seasons with the Chicago Bears.

He’ll have plenty of pressure on him from Pittsburgh fans in 2022 as he’ll be the first player to start under center after longtime Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger officially announced his retirement from the NFL.

If Trubisky struggles early next season, Steelers fans won’t hesitate to call for him to be replaced with the team’s first-round draft selection this year, former University of Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett.
