No. 26: Jacoby Brissett (Cleveland Browns)

Deshaun Watson is expected to be suspended by the NFL this year for at least a few games, so Jacoby Brissett is likely going to be the guy to open up the 2022 regular season under center for the Browns.

Brissett has been in the league since 2017, but he’s never been able to experience much success. With the Miami Dolphins last season, he started five games, but the team was only able to win two of them.

Former Vikings assistant coach Kevin Stefanski will have his work cut out for him in his third year as Cleveland’s head coach. At the same time, however, Stefanski and the Browns knew what they were getting into when they made the decision to trade for Watson earlier this offseason.

No. 25: Davis Mills (Houston Texans)

Davis Mills was a bit of a pleasant surprise for the Texans last year. Houston had their eyes set on drafting Kellen Mond in 2021, but the Vikings were able to snag him first, so the Texans went with Mills instead.

So far, it looks like Houston wound up with the better quarterback.

Mills was only able to lead the Texans to two wins in his 11 starts as a rookie last season. However, he had plenty of moments in 2021 that should excite Houston fans about his future, including when he threw for 312 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions in a Week 5 matchup against the New England Patriots.
