Former Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph has reportedly signed a deal to suit up with Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next season.

During his 11 seasons in the NFL as a member of both the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants, tight end Kyle Rudolph has never had the opportunity to play in a Super Bowl. However, Rudolph might finally get the chance to play in the Super Bowl in 2022 as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

On Wednesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed that the former Vikings tight end has agreed to a one-year deal with the Bucs, a franchise that captured a Vince Lombardi trophy during the 2020 season.

Rudolph will now get to catch passes from future Hall of Famer, Tom Brady, who will easily be the best quarterback the former Minnesota tight end has ever played with.

Will former Minnesota Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph have success with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?

Currently, Tampa Bay has the second-best odds to win the Super Bowl next season in the entire NFL, according to WynnBET. Only the Buffalo Bills have better odds to win the Super Bowl this year than the Bucs.

So, for Rudolph, Tampa Bay’s 2022 squad could end up being the best team he’s ever played for. Minnesota had some good seasons during the tight end’s tenure with the franchise, but none of them resulted in an appearance in the Super Bowl.

Rudolph will be helping the Bucs make up for the losses of tight ends Rob Gronkowski and O.J. Howard this offseason. The former Vikings second-round pick will join a Tampa Bay tight end room that includes Cameron Brate, Ko Kieft, Dylan Cook, Ben Beise, J.J. Howland, Codey McElroy, and Cade Otton.

One should expect Rudolph and Brate to enter the upcoming season as the Bucs’ top-two tight ends, with the other six guys fighting for the other spots on the depth chart.
