The look at right guard

For the most part, the Minnesota Vikings have starters returning on offense to fill out the starting roles. The only real question at the moment is right guard, where an open competition will determine who will settle in between Garrett Bradbury and Brian O’Neill.

Competition there will likely boil down to veteran Jesse Davis and rookie Ed Ingram. For the first day of rookie camp, Davis got the nod while Ingram worked with the second-team offensive line according to Will Ragataz of Sports Illustrated.

Meanwhile, Chris Tomasson seemed more surprised that Davis got the nod over Chris Reed, who is another veteran in the competition.

This will be the competition to watch offensively at camp when it comes to starters. Protecting Kirk Cousins and making holes for Dalvin Cook to run through is the ultimate goal of the offensive line and getting this call right is important in being successful this season.
