A star defender is headed to the Ring of Honor
Today was a treat for the players and coaches in attendance at Training Camp. They got a visit and an opportunity to be addressed by former Minnesota Vikings legendary pass rusher Jared Allen inside U.S. Bank Stadium following the practice.
While this is a great pleasure for those in attendance, it was the most surprising for Allen himself. While speaking to the team, a video package rolled on the screens inside the stadium revealing that Jared will be the next player inducted into the team’s Ring of Honor.

The ambush went off without a hitch as shown in the video shared by the official Twitter account of the Minnesota Vikings. Hearing Jared Allen say that he would have brought the wife and kids had he known was classic Allen and matched his personality.
Jared Allen will be inducted into the team’s Ring of Honor on Oct. 30 at U.S. Bank Stadium when the Vikings host the Arizona Cardinals. This will likely be a game that fans will the lining up to purchase tickets for.
