If you ask a Vikings fan who the best wide receiver in the NFL is today, many will likely say Justin Jefferson. Unfortunately, that’s not the belief of the rest of the league, at least not yet.

Some regard Jefferson as the best receiver in the game, but not everyone, and he knows that. That sliver of doubt is what will be fueling Minnesota’s talented young pass-catcher during his third season in the NFL.

With the massive amounts of cash that have been handed out to wide receivers around the league recently, one might believe that Jefferson is highly motivated by money. However, he quickly shot down that thought last week when he claimed that he’s “not too fond of money.”

Obviously, Jefferson wants to get paid like some of the other top wide receivers in the NFL. But he also knows that if he’s regarded by the majority as the absolute best receiver in the league, then he’s going to cash in for a big payday no matter what.
