Zach Davidson

At the moment, Zach Davidson is a project, but there is a lot to like about the 24-year-old Central Missouri tight end that might give him an opportunity to prove himself in the preseason and during training camp.

Of course, the biggest thing to notice about Davidson is his size. At 6’7, he has a big advantage over smaller defenders and offers a massive catch radius thanks to his wingspan and athletic ability.

The bad news is that he’s fairly new to playing tight end. He was an All-State punter through most of his youth He is still learning and adjusting to playing offense and learning the intricate details of route running and blocking.

If things can click for Davidson heading into the 2022 NFL season, he might be able to find a spot on the roster. He’d still need to beat out Johnny Mundt, but at least the Minnesota Vikings would have some options at the position.
