Brett Jones – Free Agent

Vikings fans should be familiar with Brett Jones because of his time in Minnesota from 2018 to 2020. He bounced to and from the practice squad before getting elevated to the 53-man roster but played in 31 games for the Vikings and started five of those.

Jones was signed by the Broncos in 2021 but was placed on Denver’s injured reserve list with a torn bicep in August, forcing him to miss the entire season while recovering and rehabbing from the injury.

If Jones is healthy, his familiarity with Minnesota would be a benefit for Minnesota as a free agent as well as what could possibly be an extremely small contract to bring him on board while playing any spot on the interior of the line.

There could be some real benefit of having Brett Jones on the roster for the Minnesota Vikings whether they need him to start at center or not. However, interest in his services will all depend on his health and availability.
