Jalen Nailor will catch at least one touchdown

There hasn’t been too much buzz from rookies during training camp, but an exception has been Jalen Nailor. The Vikings’ sixth-round pick out of Michigan State has made several great plays during camp and it’s possible he’ll get a shot to showcase his talents on Sunday.

Nailor put up modest stats during his time with the Spartans, catching 37 passes for 695 yards and six touchdowns during his redshirt junior season. He also spent time on the sidelines due to injury, which sent his draft stock tumbling into the sixth round.

But those factors are not indicative of Nailor’s talent. FantasyPros writer Thor Nystrom believes the Vikings got a two to three-round discount because of Nailor’s production and injury history but has the same type of athleticism that Russell Gage and Kadarius Toney displayed coming into the league.

The results have been promising so far in camp as Nailor has spent time putting together several highlights. If he’s able to do the same on Sunday, the Vikings could have another weapon in their receiving corps.
