Which Minnesota Vikings improved or hurt their chances of making the final 2022 roster during Sunday’s preseason loss to the Las Vegas Raiders?

Against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings trotted out onto the field for their first game with Kevin O’Connell as their head coach. It was only an exhibition matchup, but there was still plenty of excitement surrounding the Vikings heading into the contest.

Unfortunately, Minnesota wasn’t able to deliver O’Connell a victory over the Raiders on Sunday. However, it’s safe to assume the Vikings’ new head coach didn’t lose any sleep over his team’s preseason loss in Las Vegas.

The preseason is an opportunity for players on Minnesota’s roster bubble to prove that they deserve to stick around for the upcoming regular season.

On Sunday, some of these bubble players made the most of their opportunities, while others saw their performance trend in the wrong direction.

So based on what went down against the Raiders, which current members of the Vikings‘ roster deserve to stick around for the 2022 campaign, and which players should be shown the door before the start of the regular season?
