T.Y. McGill has had an excellent preseason so far and it should result in him earning a spot on Minnesota’s final roster. There wasn’t much chatter around the veteran defensive lineman heading into training camp, but McGill has made definitely made the most of his opportunities in the Vikings’ two exhibition games.

Not much changed during Minnesota’s second preseason game for this group and there isn’t really any reason to think things are going to be any different in the team’s final exhibition contest next week.
Patrick Jones II continued to prove that he can be useful as a pass rusher with three pressures and a sack against the 49ers. After missing his entire rookie season, Janarius Robinson hasn’t flashed much during the preseason this year, so he might be a candidate for the practice squad.
