Trimming the roster of the Minnesota Vikings down to 53 players will be a huge challenge but the team would be willy not to include these five players.

Assembling a team to contend for a playoff spot is the goal of any NFL franchise. For the Minnesota Vikings, their current crop of players has a lot of talent, and choosing the right players to keep is essential.

Sometimes, mistakes are made and players slip through the cracks. This happens sometimes and teams end up kicking themselves for releasing skilled players they once had in training camp rather than continuing to let them grow and develop.

For the 2022 NFL season, having the right combination of players to succeed is key. That means evaluating players as well as they can and making sure they keep the ones who are playing well and can contribute on the field.

The Minnesota Vikings would be absolutely silly if they were to cut one of these five players. Each of them has something to contribute to the team including the potential to be even better as they gain more experience.
