A few injuries could impact the 53

The Minnesota Vikings made it through their first two preseason games without any serious injuries but the third and final contest saw some misfortune come to players hoping to earn a spot on the team’s final roster.

Standout defensive lineman T.Y. McGill left the game early with an ankle injury After bouncing around the league, another big preseason effort could have really helped his chances of making the 53.

Rookie receiver Jalen Nailor suffered a concussion and Bisi Johnson left with a knee injury. In one of the more challenging position groups to win a job, these two could have really used a strong performance to lock down a job.

Finally, linebacker Troy Dye had a foot injury as well, adding to the list of players who needed to perform well in this game. Hopefully, these individuals have done enough to earn a spot on the 53, but they aren’t safe at the moment.
