The Minnesota Vikings are still a question mark

A lot was learned about the Minnesota Vikings during the preseason as a whole, but most of the observations were made about backups and reserves who might not see significant time on the football field this season.

In fact, there is still no way of knowing how a lot of these players will work together on the field. Or how they will fit into the new schemes and formations, Or even how the team has grown into their roles and plays.

Seeing how the purple and gold will actually be as a team will be a huge surprise when the team takes the field at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 11 to take on the Green Bay Packers in what should be a hard-fought game.

Hopefully, there will be no rust for the starters to shake off when the season starts and they will know their roles and plays like the back of their hands. But the decision to sit everyone and show nothing is a bit scary from a fan standpoint but could be a genius move from a coach’s viewpoint.
