Despite not making a dramatic overhaul to their roster this year, the Minnesota Vikings will still have more than a handful of new starters to begin the 2022 season.
When the Minnesota Vikings decided to hire a brand new general manager and head coach earlier this year, some felt the franchise was about to send several of their most notable players out the door as well.
But that’s not what new Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah did. Instead, Adofo-Mensah kept the core of Minnesota’s roster mostly intact this offseason.
So in his first season as the Vikings head coach, Kevin O’Connell will have to see if he can get more from players like Kirk Cousins, Dalvin Cook, Justin Jefferson, Danielle Hunter, and Harrison Smith than the previous regime.
At the same time, Minnesota was still able to make some roster moves this year that should be able to have a significant impact on the team’s performance during the 2022 season.

So who exactly are the members of Minnesota’s current roster that are expected to be in the team’s starting lineup in Week 1 after not being opening-day starters for the franchise last season?
