A complete rundown of Vikings injuries before Week 1 of the 2022 season

Vikings out for an extended period of time
Ryan Connelly – LB
As he still recovers from a torn ACL that he suffered during the middle of last season, the Vikings recently decided to place linebacker Ryan Connelly on the team’s reserve/physically unable to play list.
With this designation, Connelly will have to miss at least Minnesota’s first four games of the 2022 season. Following the Vikings’ Week 4 matchup against the New Orleans Saints, he’ll be eligible to come off the reserve/physically unable to play list.
Blake Proehl – WR
Like Connelly, Minnesota placed wide receiver Blake Proehl on their reserve/physically unable to play list to begin the 2022 season as he recovers from his own torn ACL injury that he suffered during the team’s training camp last summer.
And just like Connelly, Proehl’s placement on the Vikings’ reserve/physically unable to play list means that he will be ineligible to play in the team’s first four contests of the upcoming regular season.
