Vikings that are presumably healthy for Week 1

Brian Asamoah – LB

During the first quarter of the Vikings’ final game of the preseason against the Broncos, Minnesota rookie linebacker left the field for a bit with an ankle injury.

Some hearts dropped when it happened, but Asamoah eventually returned to the field in Denver, and he should be good to go when the Vikings take on the Packers in Week 1.

Chris Reed – G/C

Earlier this summer, Minnesota interior offensive lineman Chris Reed injured his elbow, and it caused him to miss some valuable practice time. However, Reed appears to have recovered from this injury as he was on the field for 34 offensive snaps in the Vikings’ preseason final against the Broncos.

Johnny Mundt – TE

Minnesota tight end Johnny Mundt hasn’t suffered any injuries since he joined the team this offseason. But Mundt is coming off of a torn ACL that he suffered in the 2021 season, and there’s always a chance that setbacks can occur with these types of injuries.

So far, the Vikings tight end seems healthy and ready to contribute to the team when they host Green Bay inside U.S. Bank Stadium to kick off the 2022 regular season.
