1st Place in the NFC North

Green Bay Packers

  • Final Record: 12-5 (4-2 in NFC North)

No one really knew what to expect from Matt LaFleur when the Packers hired him to be their head coach in 2019. LaFleur was coming off a 2018 season with the Tennessee Titans where they finished 27th in the NFL in scoring with him as their offensive coordinator.

Despite this, Green Bay felt he was the right guy for the job, and boy has that turned out to be the correct decision. Since LaFleur’s arrival, the Packers have finished with 13 wins in each of his three seasons with the team.

In 2022, Green Bay and their head coach should still be among the best teams in the NFC. All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams is no longer on the roster, but the Packers should still be able to get by with the two-time reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers leading the way.

Given how their first three years have gone during LaFleur’s tenure, Green Bay will be looking to see if they can achieve more success beyond the regular season in 2022. But until they prove that they can get over the playoff hump and into the Super Bowl, there’s no reason to think that things will be any different for the Packers this year.
