Which players have been ruled out in Week 1’s game between the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers?

It is the first week of the regular season, so most players are healthy and available but there is a chance players for both the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers could be missing some big names on the field on Sunday.

Here is a look at the players in danger of sitting out Week 1 according to the injury report on the official website of the Vikings.

Minnesota Vikings

Questionable

It would be a little disappointing not to see first-round draft pick Lewis Cine in action on Sunday but long-term health is more important than getting playing time early in the season.

Having depth on the defensive line would be nice against a typically-stout Green Bay wall of defense. If Bullard misses this game, that could mean more time for Ross Blacklock to prove the team was right to move on from Armon Watts this offseason.

  • No players were listed as out or doubtful for Minnesota.

Green Bay Packers

Doubtful

Questionable

If Lazard misses the game, Aaron Rodgers will have a ragtag group of receivers to throw to. That might not bother the back-to-back MVP as much as other quarterbacks but it would still be noteworthy.

Having two excellent linemen on the Green Bay injury report is big for Minnesota. Bakhtiari is arguably the best offensive tackle in the league and holding off the Vikings’ pass rush has to be a top priority for the Packers. This will be n injury to watch heading into the game.

Official inactive lists for both teams will be live approximately 30 minutes before kickoff, confirming who will not be taking the field for the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packer.
