It’s hard to pick disappointing players when the Minnesota Vikings dominated the Green Bay Packers, but who were four who didn’t have their best performances?

The Minnesota Vikings got their 2022 season and the Kevin O’Connell regime off to a perfect start with an absolute butt-kicking of their hated rivals the Green Bay Packers.

Justin Jefferson was a man amongst boys as he found ways to get wide open on his way to a nine reception 184 yard two touchdown performance. Kirk Cousins was on point hitting key passes that led to first downs and kept the chains and clock moving. O’Connell came up with a brilliant game plan that found the holes in the Packers’ defense and sustained long drives that kept Aaron Rodgers off the field.

Defensively, the Vikings were on attack mode as Danielle Hunter and Za’Darius Smith were consistently in the face of Rodgers, racking up a sack each. The defense put Rodgers to the ground four times, had a key goal-line stand, and turned the Packers over on downs late in the fourth quarter.

It was a total and complete team win for Minnesota, and while many players played out of their heads, some weren’t as impressive. Here are four Vikings who didn’t have their best games against the Packers in Week 1.
