Dalvin Cook – RB

Dalvin Cook finished the game with 20 rushing attempts for 90 yards, and he added three catches for another 18 yards.

It’s very likely stat lines like this will be the borderline for the Vikings’ lead back on a weekly basis in 2022. The new pass-heavy approach from the offense opens up running lanes and it allowed Cook to eat up yardage against a stout Packers defense that may prove to be one of the better units against the run this season.

Cook was held out of the end zone, but this can be pinned on the game script for the time being as Justin Jefferson’s dominant performance was enough to give a lot of the other skill positions some rest in a game that wasn’t close on the scoreboard.

With nearly 14 fantasy points recorded despite not scoring, Cook will remain one of the most coveted backs in fantasy football in 2022. Weeks where he scores will likely result in Cook residing among the best running backs week-to-week.

In the game against the Eagles next Monday, fire up Cook in all lineups for what should be a high-scoring affair for both teams.
