Kirk Cousins – QB
Kirk Cousins was efficient and calculated behind his new beefed-up offensive line. He completed 23 passes for 277 yards and two touchdowns on 32 total attempts.
If there was ever a season to bet on Cousins silencing his critics, this seems like the year. The new coaching staff believes Cousins is capable of winning a Super Bowl, and he’s playing in one of the most productive systems with game-breaking weapons.
His fantasy output should rank among the top-12 quarterbacks on the week, and he will be a consistent option throughout the year with top-5 upside in some matchups.
For fantasy managers who don’t have a mobile quarterback who will pad their point totals with rushing work, Cousins is a safe streaming option with a high floor.
Cousins faces off against the Eagles next Monday. Philadelphia’s defense has improved, but they could struggle trying to defend the Vikings’ trio of wide receivers.
