Vikings Fantasy Football Recap: Week 2 vs the Eagles
Adam Thielen – WR
It wasn’t the output fans and fantasy managers were hoping for. Despite seeing an uptick in usage, things aren’t feeling too great with anyone who currently rosters Adam Thielen.
The 32-year-old red zone threat has yet to make an impact on the season, and this falls on the coaching staff. There aren’t any indications Thielen has lost a step. He just simply isn’t being featured in the Vikings’ offense. This should change sooner rather than later, because if it doesn’t, Minnesota will inevitably be on the path to a disappointing season.
Patience will almost certainly reward fantasy managers, but the question on fantasy minds is… do you start or sit Thielen?
Unfortunately, Thielen can’t be started with confidence until he strings together consecutive positive fantasy performances and the Vikings’ offense is back on track. If he was drafted to be in your starting lineup, packaging him in a trade could provide an immediate upgrade to competitive rosters.
Thielen in the matchup against the Lions is unpredictable and will be a Hail Mary flex option.
