Vikings Fantasy Football Recap: Week 2 vs the Eagles
The Rest
K.J. Osborn – WR
Don’t start Osborn. He’s a dynasty stash and nothing more. Jefferson or Thielen need to miss time before Osborn is fantasy relevant.
Johnny Mundt – TE
If you’re looking at chasing fantasy points from Mundt, give up on fantasy football. There is nothing indicating any sort of prominent role for him.
Alex Mattison – RB
He’s a strong handcuff option that can become a viable option if Cook misses time. His biggest value comes in dynasty formats as he’s slated to become a free agent next year. There’s a chance a team signs him to be a force in their backfield in a larger capacity than he’s had with the Vikings.
Greg Joseph – K
He’s accurate. He can convert field goals from deep. He doesn’t miss often. He hasn’t had many opportunities to put points on the board, but that will change as the Vikings find their offensive rhythm. He could finish the year as a top-10 kicker, but again, Minnesota’s offense needs to wake up.
Vikings Defense
They’re a streaming option, but not this week. The Lions should put up a lot of points with the breakouts of wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and running back D’Andre Swift. Save them for weeks against struggling teams.
