Ndamukong Suh – DT
Ndamukong Suh is a guy that Vikings fans have been hearing about as a possible addition to the team’s roster for the last few weeks.
There’s a rumored mutual interest between Suh and Minnesota, the two parties just haven’t been able to agree to any sort of deal that meets everyone’s needs. Based on the performance of the Vikings’ run defense during the first two weeks of the season, they might want to just give Suh whatever amount of money he’s looking for.
Through two games, Minnesota is allowing the fifth-most rushing yards in the NFL at 5.3 yards per carry. The Vikings probably aren’t going to be able to accomplish a whole lot this season if they can’t get their run defense sorted out.
That’s where Suh comes in. The veteran defensive tackle has been a reliable run-stopper for the majority of his career and he would probably be a better option as Minnesota’s third starting defensive lineman than Jonathan Bullard or James Lynch.
