Minnesota will get back on track against the Lions
It’s elementary to say these aren’t the same old Lions. Amon-Ra St. Brown and D’Andre Swift are dynamic players that could make the Vikings pay. Aiden Hutchinson is a rising star that could terrorize Kirk Cousins. Detroit isn’t sleepwalking under Campbell, and they’re coming off a strong win last week.
But on paper, Minnesota has the look of a better team.
Throughout the Mike Zimmer era, a lowly loss by the Vikings was usually followed by a win over a bad team. The Lions are much improved from where they were one year ago, but they still have a ways to go to become a legitimate contender in the NFC North.
This will be a closer game than many expect it to be, but this is a Minnesota roster that has dominated the Lions. Even though Detroit will make them sweat, this figures to be a game where the Vikings will get back on track.
Prediction: Vikings win 34-27
