The Minnesota Vikings roared back and beat the Detroit Lions at home on Sunday. Who are five players whose performances weren’t quite up to snuff?

The Minnesota Vikings are now 2-1 after a come-from-behind victory against the Detroit Lions at home. Things started off horribly for the purple as the offense couldn’t generate much and the defense looked as porous as it did against the Philadelphia Eagles last Monday.

The Vikings quickly fell into a 14-0 hole, but they were able to tie it by the end of the half, and eventually pull away with the lead as the final seconds ticked off the clock.

There were plenty of Minnesota players who played very well, helping ensure this victory happened. Adam Thielen and K.J. Osborn stepped up at receiver, and Dalvin Cook was a workhorse in the backfield. The Vikings’ offensive line did a great job keeping Kirk Cousins upright and they were equally as impressive at opening up holes in the running game.

Minnesota’s defense wasn’t great all game, but one major standout was safety Josh Metellus, who got the start because Harrison Smith was injured and ended up having the game-sealing interception.

While those players looked great, there were also a handful that didn’t. Who are a few Vikings that disappointed with their performance in the win over the Lions?
