Wins are wins

Unlike the college version of their sport, wins in the NFL are all equal, regardless of how many points a team wins by or how tough their opponent might be.

This couldn’t be more true for the Vikings this season as their last two victories were much more ugly than they were pretty. To make them even uglier, these past Minnesota wins came against a pair of opponents that are a combined 2-6 this year.

But, once again, as long as the Vikings have more points than the other team when the final whistle blows, it’s all that matters.

Minnesota is currently 3-1, and people can say “they are the worst 3-1 team in the NFL right now,” or “they could easily be 1-3 instead of 3-1” all they want. But the truth is the Vikings have won three of their first four games this year and they’ve already put themselves on a great path to get back to the playoffs for the first time since 2019.
