7 biggest takeaways from the Vikings win over the Saints in Week 4

Jefferson reminds everyone he’s still exceptional
After he exploded in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers, Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson, unsurprisingly, received an incredible amount of attention from the defenses he faced in Week 2 and Week 3.
The results were less than ideal as Jefferson was held to just nine catches for 62 yards and no touchdowns while he was double and triple-covered for the majority of Minnesota’s matchups in Week 2 and Week 3.
On Sunday, however, the Vikings and Jefferson said enough is enough. Minnesota faced a tough Saints pass defense, but it didn’t matter as Jefferson got back to dominating out on the field.
Against New Orleans, the Vikings’ top receiver finished his day with 10 catches for 147 yards and one rushing touchdown. Whatever Minnesota did to help Jefferson get more opportunities on Sunday is something they need to continue doing for the remainder of the season.
