Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears early prediction and odds for Week 5
By Adam Patrick
After a successful trip to London, England, the Minnesota Vikings will return home in Week 5 for an NFC North matchup with the Chicago Bears.
One month into the Kevin O’Connell era, things are going pretty well for the Minnesota Vikings. So far the Vikings have won three of their first four games and they’ll be looking to improve their record to 4-1 this season when they take on the Chicago Bears this upcoming Sunday in a Week 5 matchup inside U.S. Bank Stadium.
Will Minnesota extend their winning streak to three games or will the Bears pull off an upset on the road?

Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears prediction Week 5
Believe it or not, Minnesota’s Week 17 win over Chicago last season was the Vikings’ first victory on their home field over the Bears since 2018.
For whatever reason, Chicago seemed to have Minnesota’s number when Matt Nagy was the head coach of the Bears. But Nagy is gone now, and judging by what happened during the first month of the 2022 season, the Vikings have upgraded at the head coach position with the hiring of Kevin O’Connell.
Under O’Connell, Minnesota has already been successful against NFC North opponents, with wins over the Green Bay Packers in Week 1 and the Detroit Lions in Week 3. With Chicago looking like the worst team in the division this year, we should expect the Vikings to remain undefeated against NFC North opponents after Sunday.
Prediction: Vikings win
